FAQ

I suspect that I have refueled with low-quality fuel, what should I do?

If you have doubts about the quality of the fuel you have refueled with, promptly file a claim with proof of fuel purchase at the gas station where you filled such fuel. We recommend following the valid complaints procedure (at gas stations with the Seal of Quality, the procedure has been checked as part of an audit and is a reliable guarantee of an impartial approach when dealing with a complaint), agreeing on the method and conditions for taking a sample of fuel from the vehicle's tank (if you do not do so, it will be difficult you will prove any damage later). If you are interested in fuel analysis, contact our laboratories directly, where you can directly agree on the scope of the analysis and its price, as well as the method of handing over the sample.

How long does natural gasoline last in a car tank without changing its chemical properties?

Car gasoline is a mixture of hydrocarbons with a boiling point of normally 30 to 210°C, and this chemical mixture is not intended for long-term storage in the car tank. Half a year of storage in a car is limiting, as volatile components evaporate and subsequently there may be a problem with starting the engine. In addition, with regard to volatility, seasonal gasoline quality is distributed at gas stations. Long-term storage of gasoline can cause sediments and other unstable substances to form, which subsequently clog the combustion chamber.

What is the quality of fuel at which gas stations to refuel?

You can guarantee high-quality fuel by purchasing it at gas stations with the seal of quality. This mark marks gas stations where the quality of the fuel sold is regularly checked by SGS.
